Connection issues with S7-PLCSIM V5.4 SP5 UPD1

Hello!

Great application!
Nevertheless, I was trying to connect to S7-PLCSIM V5.4 SP5 UPD1, and I'm getting the following message:

Unable to connect application instance No.1


Any idea what this could be?

Some additional information:
 - I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x64
 - I started Process Simulator with Administrative rights.

Hello!

Only one idea. May be instance is not №1? You
can see this number on the form’s header. There must be S7-PLCSIM1 (not
S7-PLCSIM2).

I installed all the versions of Process Simulator on:
Windows 10 TIA Portal V12 - not worked (message: Unable to connect application instance No.1)
Windows 10 TIA Portal V14 - not worked (message: Unable to connect application instance No.1)
Windows 7 TIA Portal V12 - not worked (message: Unable to connect application instance No.1)
Windows 7 TIA Portal V14 - not worked (message: Unable to connect application instance No.1)

Any idea?

Unfortunately, new PLC simulator from TIA Portal is not supported.

I have the same problem, but I'm using PLCSIM for Step7 v5.4 SP6.

Try to run TIAPortal/Step7 also as administrator.
